We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our Registered Apprenticeship Program in the dynamic fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI) design. Employers who sign up to participate in the Program can hire an Apprentice from our database (or your own pipeline) and may qualify to receive financial incentives such as Wage Reimbursement and Federal tax credit through the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC). As a Sponsor, we’ll handle the administrative side to keep the lift low and the ROI high.

Learn about key analytical skills such as data cleaning, data analysis, as well as tools like spreadsheets, SQL, Tableau, and R.

Learn about the types of solutions artificial intelligence (AI) makes possible, and the services on Microsoft Azure that you can use to create them.

Examine the key ideas associated with structured thinking and how they can help analysts better understand problems and develop solutions.

Apply basic SQL functions for cleaning and transforming data.

Gain an understanding of how to aggregate data in spreadsheets and by using SQL.

Learn how to form a compelling narrative through data stories and explore the principles and practices involved with effective presentations. 

Topics Include:

Understand foundational concepts in UX design, such as user-centered design, the design process, accessibility, and equity-focused design.

Empathize, Define, and Ideate to create possible solutions to user problems. 

Create storyboards to ideate solutions that can be mocked up via wireframes and low-fidelity digital prototypes.

Plan and conduct moderated and unmoderated usability studies and synthesize observations to create insights. 

Demonstrate how design systems can be used to organize, standardize, and enhance designs and use digital tools like Figma to iterate on designs. 

Apply each step of the UX design process (empathize, define, ideate, prototype, test) to create a responsive website in Adobe XD.
