SUCCESS STORIES
Norbert Seals' journey with Miami EdTech exemplifies the transformative power of apprenticeships in bridging the gap between ambition and opportunity. Transitioning from roles in video production and warehouse operations, Norbert pursued a career in technology by completing a Full-Stack coding bootcamp but had trouble finding long-term access. Through hands-on experience and continuous learning, Norbert not only developed technical skills but also secured full-time employment in the tech industry, showcasing the impact of Miami EdTech's commitment to empowering individuals through education and real-world experience.
Alexa Perez joined Miami EdTech as an intern, where she designed a semi-autonomous EV bike featuring an object detection system using Arduinos, sensors, and buzzers. The goal was to merge creativity with practical engineering, and Miami EdTech provided the support and flexibility to do just that. By integrating Riders and Infento kits, the project served as a powerful example of how real-world tools can help students better understand STEM through testing and iteration. The experience pushed her to think like an innovator while reinforcing the value of hands-on, purpose-driven learning. It became more than just a build—it was a meaningful step toward creating tech that is functional, educational, and accessible.
