Eagles Soar!
The school district calls the event Principal Today, an annual initiative that invites community and business leaders to serve as the principal of a school for one day. The goal? To create synergy and connection between schools and the community at large.
“I was so impressed with the school, students, and culture at Turner Tech- I can’t way to come back!”, explained Randall Raymond, a Software Engineer at Google who was invited, along with myself, to be Principal for the Day at William Turner Technical Arts HS- Eagles Soar! It was one of the best school visits I’ve ever had, and I want to thank Principal Frazier for an incredible day.
Getting a first-hand look at what happens inside of schools is a great way to see how to collaborate and support the future workforce.
Matthew, a senior at Turner Tech HS, was excited to show his artwork- a piece he hopes to turn into an NFT and raise awareness around the importance of getting the community involved with local schools. Give us a shout if interested in getting involved next year!
