Miami EdTech Week is an annual event that brings together educators, entrepreneurs, and technology enthusiasts from all over the world to explore the latest trends and innovations in education technology. This year’s event was a huge success, with attendees participating in a variety of activities, including the NAF conference, the Maker Faire, Co-Working day at PS Social, the Marlins game with teachers, and the eMerge Americas conference.
The NAF conference was the first pre-event of Miami EdTech Week, and it was a great way to warm the gears the week before our week-long celebration of education technology. The conference brought together educators, business leaders and students to discuss and dive deeper into the latest trends and innovations in education. Attendees had the opportunity to attend workshops, network with other professionals in their field, and learn about new technologies that could help them improve their teaching methods. This was also a great conference for students to engage with business leaders, grow their network and interview with companies for Summer Internships on the spot!
The Marlins game with teachers was a fun way to bring educators together and show appreciation for their hard work. Teachers from all over Miami were invited to attend the game and enjoy an evening of baseball, food, and networking with their peers. This event was a great way to celebrate the hard work and dedication of teachers in the Miami area.
Another highlight of Miami EdTech Week was the coworking day at PS Social. This event was designed to give educators and entrepreneurs a chance to come together and work on projects in a collaborative environment. Participants had access to high-speed internet, comfortable workspaces, and other amenities that helped them focus on their work and make progress on their projects.
The final event of Miami EdTech Week was the eMerge Americas conference, where our Founder Carlos hosted the Launchpad stage. This conference brought together some of the most influential people in the world of education technology and gave attendees a window into the future of the workforce. The conference featured a variety of keynote speakers, panels, and workshops that covered topics ranging from Apprenticeships, Computer Science in the classrooms, artificial intelligence to virtual reality and beyond.
Overall, EdTech Week was a great success, and it was a fantastic opportunity for educators, entrepreneurs, and technology enthusiasts to come together and explore the latest trends and innovations in education technology. Whether you are an educator looking to improve your teaching methods or an entrepreneur looking to develop new technologies for the education market or someone looking to start in a new field or build your expertise, Miami EdTech Week has something to offer everyone. We look forward to seeing what next year’s event will bring!
