ESports have come a long way, evolving from a form of entertainment to a powerful educational tool. The Riders Platform understands the potential of ESports in fostering skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and strategic thinking, which are crucial in today’s job market. Miami EdTech also focuses on cultivating critical thinkers and problem solvers as part of their Computer Science advocacy and training which makes for a transformative partnership! Through a unique partnership with the City of Miami, a strategic collaboration was created aimed at strengthening STEM education in five local public schools, including iTech Edison Magnet School, Booker T. Washington Sr High School, Miami Sr High School, Miami Edison Sr High School and Citrus Grove Middle School, among others.
Riders takes the concept of ESports a step further, combining the excitement of competition with the educational value of robotics and coding. Students have access to learning modules that incorporate various elements of a robust STEM experience:
