Indianapolis, IN — November 2025 — Miami EdTech, a nonprofit organization dedicated to closing the digital skills gap through computer science advocacy, digital skilling, and workforce development, today announced its STEM on Wheels expansion to Indiana and Richardson, Texas, with support from Infosys Foundation USA.
Building on the success of its inaugural year in Indiana, the expanded initiative will serve approximately 1,000 students across 30 public schools, bringing immersive, project-based STEM experiences directly into classrooms. Students will explore engineering, robotics, coding, artificial intelligence, and design thinking through hands-on learning that develops both technical and career-ready skills.
“STEM on Wheels is about giving students opportunities to become creators, builders, and problem-solvers,” said Carlos Vazquez, President & CEO of Miami EdTech. “With the support of Infosys Foundation USA, we’re expanding access to experiences that inspire curiosity, build confidence, and prepare young people for the careers of tomorrow.”
The program combines educator professional development with classroom implementation, equipping teachers to deliver engaging STEM instruction while helping students connect academic concepts to real-world applications. Throughout the school year, students will participate in collaborative engineering challenges, coding activities, and innovation showcases that celebrate creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking.
Educators participating in the initiative will receive professional learning through Infosys Springboard, gaining access to curriculum, digital resources, and opportunities to earn certifications in emerging technologies. Returning students will also serve as STEM Champions, mentoring younger participants and helping build sustainable STEM cultures within their schools.
